A Cserehátvidék geomorfológiai fejlödése és domborzati képe

Evolution du relief et topographie de la région de Cserehát

Auteur :
SZABÓ, J.

Description :
The basic concept of the elaboration was a geomorphological analysis to be carried out jointly with that of its framing river valleys (Hernád, Bódva) constituting the relief boundary. The general evolution of the Hernád Valley : the article provides an analysis of the present-day geomorphological and economic role of the high bluffs suggesting a substantial part played by slumps in their ongoing formation, which is a specific feature in the area of the North Hungarian Mountains. A similar analysis is focused on the valley segments of different character closely related to the geomorphic evolution of the Bódva Valley (basins and gorges) and on the intrinsic system of terraces. - (ZK)
