Description :
The paper deals with the geomorphological development of rock surfaces with substantial carbonate content in the Köszeg Mountains (Western Hungary). Landforms on slopes built of greenschist were identified and typified by the authors. According to their findings a close relationship can be proven between the amount of carbonate material and distribution within the rock on the one hand and landforms sinking in the slopes built of greenschist on the other. - (ZK)
