It is typical of the new small towns that they create their infrastructural networks on their own, but they are unable to satisfy the requirements of the inhabitants from the surrounding settlements. The provision of supply for these villages makes these small town overloaded and they could hardly cope with the task. One of the main findings of the present study, that future strategies of settlement development should be based on the microregions rather than on single settlements. - (ZK)
