Description :
During the oldest Pleistocene (group of Biberkaltzeiten) the undivided Augsburg old watershed formed the eastern border of the Iller-Lech-Platte. At the same time the oldest river Lech must be flown off from Füssen to NNE via Schongau-Ammersee-Amper to the Isar. Its recent valley from Schongau in direction to the north via Landsberg - Augsburg is younger. - (L'A.).
