To investigate the growth effects by the Single European Market, a procedure was developed which is based on the quantification of so-called endogenous and exogenous locational factors. With the aid of this procedure, model calculations were able to be carried out for various development scenarios in the European context... At the same time, the effects of Western and Eastern European iuntegration were distinguuished with respect to future developments.
