The study was conducted in one of Zambia's economically peripheral districts. Rural-urban migration is rested within the area's state of underdevelopment. For delaborized nonremittee households, rural urban migration entails greater poverty and hardship. True Samfya is very underdeveloped but without remittances and return migration its socio-economic picture could even be sader and more blurred.―(l'A.).
