Description :
State-of-the-art modelling of climate-ocean response to anthropogenically enhanced greenhouse gas forcing has resulted, in a range of future sea-level rise scenarios encompassing a time interval from the present until 2100 AD. Within this context, the AA. convened a symposium entitled Geomorphic response to sea-level rise: existing evidence and future impacts as part of the Third International Conference on Geomorphology held in Hamilton, Ontario, August 1993. The papers contained in this review constitute a substantial subset of this material.
