Description :
Southern Primorye is at present the area with the most complete data about the interaction between ancient man and environment. The first results suggest that the main regularities in man-environmment interaction in Southern Primorye are close to those from other Far Eastern Russia regions. The following methods of paleographical investigations were used: geomorphological, lithological, pollen-and-spores and radiocarbon. The results are interpreted using archaeological and paleogeographical information.
