Surface geomorphology of Kuwait

Description :
This paper represents the first attempt to divide the surface geomorphology of Kuwait into four major geomorphic zones: a) the coastal zone; b) the wadis and ridges zone; c) the lowland zone; and d) the dune fields zone. Tectonics as well as climate changes play a major role in the distribution and evolution of land form features. Paleosols and fresh water aquifers reflect wetter climate.
