Description :
The selected disposal site is located within the limits of the Gerest Hills, part of the Transdanubian Hill Region, in the administrative areas of the villages Ófalu, Feked and Véménd. it is a forested landscape, a plateau dissected by erosion valleys, unsuitable for large-scale farming. The physical, economic and social geographical investigations question the suitability of the designated area for building a nuclear waste disposal site.
