The AA. try to rewrite the meaning of the industrial city, constructing a new, more positive picture. It includes the marketing of the image, constructing a new environment and reorienting the city's relationship with its physical environment. Many factors are involved, such as investment, community space reclamation. These issues are examined in Syracuse, New York State.
