Exercising the condominium tenure option: a case study of the Canadian housing market
Auteur :MELIGRANA, J.
Description :
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of the condominium sector on a household's tenure transition by comparing condominium owner-occupants who moved from the rental market with those who moved from the ownership market. The focus is on the tenure transitions and not the spatial consequences. Tenure-choice researchers have expanded their questioning to incorporate not only a combination of demographic and economic variables but also characteristics of previous dwelling.
