Esker enlargements in northern Sweden
Auteur :LINDSTRÖM, E.
Description :
Eskers sometimes become much wider and higher for short sections. Such sections are called esker enlargements in this paper. Comparative studies of these phenomena have been carried out in inland areas of northern Sweden above the highest shoreline of the Baltic. Aerial photographs and topographic maps were used. The vertical extent of the deposits and the positions of the underlying bedrock surface were investigated with seismic equipment.
