Appraisive images of tourist areas: application of personal constructs

The AA. study the appraisive images held by tourists visiting the North Coast of New South Wales. In the first stage there is a wide variety of constructs in differentiating between tourist places. Six key evaluative constructs are identified. In the second stage, the constructs are incorporated into repertory grids that reveal how places are viewed.
