The variation of soil erodibility with slope position in a cultivated Canadian prairie landscape
Auteur :MARTZ, L. W.
Description :
This study examined the magnitude and range of soil erodibility over a series of transects, and focussed on its association with slope position and other topographic variables. The relationship of several basic soil properties to topography and to erodibility was also considered. One purpose of the study was to evaluate the possible impact that variation in soil erodibility with topography has on soil erosion patterns in the landscape.
