Response of the Pedernales River of Central Texas to Late Holocene climatic change

Description :
The purpose of this paper is to integrate geomorphic, paleohydrologic, and sedimentologic evidence from the Pedernales valley with regional paleoenvironmental data and to show how the Pedernales River responded to subtle late Holocene climatic changes that affected stream discharge and the intimately related texture and quantity of sediment delivered to the valley axis from the tributary network.
