Description :
This paper describes the detailed morphology of one channel system in Sessrumir valley, western Asgard Range. It provides the opportunity to study both the caracteristic channel and pothole forms, and their interrelationship with a detailed and evolving glacial chronology of the area. The approach involved the compilation of a geomorphological map of the system, based on vertical aerial photographs enlarged to a scale of around 1:10,000 and field checking, and a survey of characteristic features, using an Abney Level and tape.
