Soil catenas of calcareous tills, Whiskey Basin, Wyoming, USA

Auteurs :
APPLEGARTH, M.T.
DAHMS, D.E.

Description :
The AA. describe catenas developed on calcareous moraines of Pinedale and Bull Lake ages at Whikey Basin on the eastern flank of the Wind River Range, Wyoming, in 2 separate valleys. Both catenas in both valleys contain primary carbonates but there are topographic differences between them. The AA. suggest that differences in catena development mostly result from the differences in slope length between the jakey's Fork and Torrey Creek catenas.
