Description :
The aim of this paper is to quantify the amount of surface water redistribution in 3 areas in Spain (Murcia, Valencia, Albacete) having different climatological characteristics, for a fine spatial scale and temporal scales of 1 yr and 10 yr. Rainfall simulations experiments were carried out to determine runoff and infiltration characteristics of the bare and vegetated zones. The largest amount of redistribution during these events is found for areas having an intermediate rainfall regime with an annual rainfall of 394 mm.
