Late Quaternary alluviation along intermittent streams in Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory

Auteurs :

Description :
The AA. measure the thermoluminescence (TL) age of sandy sediments within the valley flats of 3 streams on Kapalga Research Station in Kakadu National Park. Their aim is to determine whether the sediments post-date the Holocene sea-level rise, and therefore are more likely to be eustatically controlled and less sensitive to climate change. If the sediments pre-date the Holocene sea-level rise, they are likely to be more sensitive to climate change.
