Auteur(s) et Affiliation(s)

CRANG, M.
Dep. of Geography, Univ., Durham, Royaume-Uni

Description :
Using the example of popular photography, the A. suggests that a focus on representation of landscape misses some important processes and reproduces some social ideologies. He insists on the subtle forms of time involved in touristic practices through the idea of future perfect experience. He suggests the spatialization of time through the juxtaposition of tourist spaces through pictorial technologies.
