This study attempts to refine fingerprinting procedures by using a quantitative composite fingerprinting technique encompassing statistical verification for composite signatures and a multivariate sediment-mixing model, to investigate source type in the Dart sub-basin of the River Exe and the Plynlimon sub-basin of the River Severn.
