Scottish housing in a European perspective

Description :
One of the striking aspects of housing in Scotland is the extent to which it differs from England and the other constituent countries of the UK. The differences between Scottish housing and housing in other European countries, particularly as regards tenure and the character of the social rented sector, owe much more to the policies which have been pursued for the last 70 years. It is time to adopt a more pragmatic approach.
