Blue revolution or red herring? Fish farming and development discourse in the Philippines

Auteur(s) et Affiliation(s)

Description :
The A. argues that the discourses of development underpinning aquaculture as a development strategy are flawed because they neglect the impact of fish farming on the local resource base and those social groups dependent upon it. Aquaculture was promoted because it was seen as a key component of national economic recovery.
