Description :
Results of an infiltration experiments involving loess soils from different, major loess regions of the Northern Hemisphere (i.e., Northwest Europe, North America and Asia), which are highly erodible and for which sealing susceptibility and reduced infiltration would substantially affect soil erosion processes and soil loss. The objectives are 1) to determine rain infiltration, and 2) to determine the sealing susceptibility of those soils and to relate qualitatively their differences to specific properties of those soils.
