Description :
This study presents results of microplot experiments with a rainfall simulator on soils of a small hydrologic catchment area in south-central Turkey. The objective was to establish the magnitude of the soil erodibility and infiltration variation by means of a comparison of sites representing typical soil forms, slope gradients, and land-use types. Simple-to-measure site characteristics were to be examined with regard to their use in an empirical predictive model and their suitability for describing erodibility and infiltration characteristics.
