Auteurs :

Description :
Perimetropolitan regions may be conceived as consisting of outer suburban, periurban, and exurban residential settings, each of which offers different combinations of housing costs and environmental amenity. They influence the characteristics of people who choose to locate in the three settings. Based on a survey of more than 600 households, the paper compares and contrasts sociodemographic, housing tenure, journey-to-work, and choice factors for movers.
