Nonlinear responses of soil erosion to climate change: a modelling study on the UK South Downs

Experimental geomorphology and landscape ecosystem changes (proceedings memorial symposium Prof. Jan De Ploey)

Auteurs :

Description :
This paper considers only the indirectly anthropogenic influences of changed rainfall, temperature and CO2 content upon erosion. However changes in land use, and hence vegetation cover, are likely to be equally, if not more, important in determining the future sensitivity of the arable landscape to erosion, just as they have been in the past.
