An extended family of spatial interaction models
Auteur :POOLER, J.
Description :
This article considers a variety of extensions to, and generalizations of, the basic Wilson family of spatial interaction models. The generalizations are unified in a single, extended family in that they are all derived in the common framework of information theory, and constrained nonlinear optimization. The extended family is very large when the number of possible combinations of model types and constraints is contemplated.
