Class dealignment and the regional polarization of voting patterns in Great Britain, 1964-1987

Description :
Survey data relating to each British general election over this period 19 are used to test the frequency-claimed assumption that regional polarization increased over the period. The results indicate that class polarization remains strong in the north but has declined substantially in the south.
