Description :
This paper examines some likely consequences of climatic warming on the runoff and sediment regimes of a very diverse group of fluvial systems. It is suggested that research on climatic change impacts should focus on the ware and sediments in the channels as well as the suite of fluvial landforms in the present paraglacial and periglacial environment.
