Temporal characteristics of Pennsylvania snowfall, 1950-1951 through 1989-1990

Description :
The goals of this research were to analyze and depict the spatial patterns and temporal changes in Pennsylvania's snowfall over a 40-year period, from 1950-1951 through 1989-1990. 26 sites were selected. Overall, the state eperienced a significant stepwise change in seasonal snowfall total during this period. The principal component analysis revealed 4 distinct seasonal regions across the state.
