Auteurs :STURM, M.

Description :
The A. presents the results of a study of the short-period motion of two glaciers on Mt Wrangell, Alaska. These glaciers are located on an active volcano and have a common accumulation zone. The study documents distinctive differences in their short-period motions, as well as some significant differences from short-period motion events described in the literature. Several possible explanations for the differences, including volcanically produced meltwater, are suggested.
