La courbe annuelle de la mortalité, surtout par maladies respiratoires et circulatoires, présente actuellement un pic très saillant en hiver. Le réchauffement annoncé par certains permet d'espérer pour le milieu du XXI° siècle une diminution du nombre des décès hivernaux de l'ordre de 9.000 par an. - (JPB)
