The presented method of evaluating transformations in vegetational landscapes is based on the concept of rings of successor communities. This serves in the drawing up of the map of anthropogenic transformations of Poland's vegetational landscapes. The map presents in a synthetic way the influence of long-lasting human activity on the naturel environment in Poland. - (DG)
