A new survey of sources of the Amazon

Description :
The expedition Hatun Mayu (Big River in Quecha) of the Faculty of Science of Charles University, Prague, measured the lenght of the main source of Apurimac River considered as the longest source segment of Amazon. In addition the expedition measured flows and altitudes in order to create the lenghtwise profile of the Rio Carhuasanta stream. The map of Czech explorer Samuel Fritz from 1707 was presented. - (MS)
