Porous borders : gender and migration in Southern Africa

Auteur :
DODSON, B.

Description :
The Southern African Migration Project was set up to conduct research on cross-border migration to post-apartheid South Africa from other southern African countries. Such migration is often seen as a threat to the security and economic well-being in South Africa. The study indicates that is a mis-conception and that some forms of migration should be encouraged. - (AJC)
