Description :
The sedimentary and palynological record fron Cheyenne Bottoms, Kansas provides new evidence for the timing and nature of late Quaternary vaegetation and climate change in the Central Great Plain. Although radiocarbon dating of the carbonate-rich lacustrine sediments remains problematic, a basic chronological framework for the section is established.
