Description :
High-resolution δ18O and δ13C analyses of a stalagmite from Lobatse II Cave reveal late Pleistocene environmental changes in Botswana. Discussion of the results and in a secondary objective, this study determines the extent to which diagenetic alteration of the carbonate explains the deviation between the 230Th/234U and 14C age determinations relative to proposed external conditions (4 new 230h/234U ages determined by mass spectrometry are presented.
