Description :
Application of in situ cosmogenic nuclides to Antarctic glacial geology is ideal because soil development and weathering rates are extremely low in Antarctica. This paper describes the use of in situ cosmogenic 3He and 10Be to constrain the ages of Quaternary moraine and older deposits formed by Taylor Glacier in Arena Valley, in the Dry Valleys region of Antarctica.
