Climatic implications of macro- and microfossil assemblages from Late Pleistocene deposits in Northern New Zealand

Description :
This paper describes the composition of a former forest on the Aupouri Peninsula in the far north of New Zealand, based on analyses of both pollent and macrofossils. The climatic conditions of the period of deposition were reconstructed from the climates currently prevailing at the modern vegetation analogues.
