Description :
In this paper, the AA. present paleoecological data from Jackson Pond, Kentucky, which is located 190 km south of the full-glacial limit of the Laurentide Ice Sheet and the sediments of which continuously span the past 20,000 radiocarbon years. Pollen, plant macrofossils, and sponge spicules from Jackson Pond are pertinent to evaluating several questions concerning late-Quaternary changes in vegetation and climate south of the Laurentide Ice Sheet.
