Late Quaternary environments in Ruby Valley, Nevada

In addition to a record of changing hydrological conditions, pollen stratigraphic records from this site are not heavily dominated by fluvially transported pollen. The Ruby Marshes thus provide a rare opportunity to reconstruct and contrast changes in paleolimnology and basin vegetation over the last 40,000 yr.
