Fossil beetle evidence for climatic change 18,000-10,000 years B.P. in South-Central Chile

In this paper, the AA. propose that major climatic change from glacial to postglacial conditions occurred as a single step centered on 14,000 yr B.P. In contrast, Heusser (1987) proposed that final warming to postglacial conditions did not occur until after 10,000 yr B. P. They study the change in species composition and greater diversity of the beetle fauna.
