Moraine systems in the Faroe Islands: glaciological and climatological implications

This study intends, by means of a geomorphological analysis, to extract palaeoclimatic information from this part of the North Atlantic region. Moraine systems were found at several localities, some of which are described in this paper. The ages of the moraines are discussed, as is the character of the climate that produced the associated glaciers.
