Description :
The aim of this paper is to present a methodology to reconstruct a history of landslide events and their causations in regions where there is a lack of historical information. A chronology of recent landslides in the upper basin of the Llobregat River, Eastern Pyrenees, has been reconstructed from technical reports, field reconnaissance and dendrogeomorphological analysis. The rainfall conditions responsible for landsliding will be deduced from the systematic analysis of the precipitation records obtained from 2 rain gauges located within the region.
