This issue of Geomorphology is a sampler of Canada's recent and continuing research in geomorphology. Each of the 9 papers is written by a leading Canadian geomorphologist. Some of the papers are reviews, others present results of recent research. They are organised in the following temporal sequence : Tertiary landform evolution; Quaternary landforms and sedimentation; Late-glacial and postglacial crustal processes and landform evolution; The Little Ice Age; Contemporary hillslope and fluvial erosion. The AA. discuss these papers in the context of their contributions to Canadian geomorphology.
