Description :
Analyses of regional tectonic features and the internal composition of Tsergo Ri landslide in comparison with the morphodynamic evolution of the upper Langtang valley reveal significant interrelationships between predesigned orogenic fabrics, landslide-triggered structures and the recent shape of the extensively eroded landslide deposit. The prehistoric landslide area of Tsergo Ri is an outstanding scientific site but also is a hazardous part of the High Himalayan Terrain with potentially serious implication for human occupants in future.
