Description :
A watershed-scale approach to the sedimentary environment of the Phewa Tal drainage basin is used to assess rates and patterns of sediment accumulation within Phewa Tal reservoir, as a record of the impact of natural and human-induced processes. The sedimentary record of Phewa Tal is analysed, and a model of sediment distribution patterns and rates of accumulation is proposed.
