Description :
In this study, the effect of burrowing activity on subsurface water movement and piping erosion was studied in a flume experiment using cohesive soil. This laboratory observation on the interaction of burrowing activity of river crabs and subsurface water movement may help in obtaining a better understanding of the effects of burrowing on geomorphic processes.
